Tharon Trujillo Invents the Lock n Block to help Keep Children Safer

According to a story in the Monterey Herald, Tharon Trujillo was at home with his baby sister when she tripped over a rug, and actually fell through the screened portion of a sliding door. Baby sister was uninjured, but the event really had an effect on Tharon, who decided that the family must get a gate that fits into a conventional sliding patio door.

11 Year Old iPhone Programmer Always Demonstrates Thoughtfulness

7 year old Charlie Simpson Raises over $160,000 dollars for Haiti

The power of instantaneous information can't be summed up any better than it is by this story. Charlie Simpson learned of the earthquake in Haiti and wanted to help, so he decied he would ride his bike 5 miles and get people to sponsor him. His dad helped him set up an Internet page.

Before he knew it, Charlie's page had raised over $160,000 dollars for UNICEF.
